The Irish Waldorf Education Association is the home for the development, promotion and sustainability of Steiner Waldorf Education in Ireland. Our national association is a member of the European Council for Steiner Waldorf Education (ECSWE), providing opportunities for Irish educators to have a voice at a European level.
IWEA aims to support all those working within Steiner Waldorf education.
We provide opportunities for the various initiatives in Ireland to meet and connect, and we give support in the areas of pedagogy, administration, and governance.
We envisage a time when Steiner Waldorf education is established as a secure and sustainable choice for all families in Ireland, so enabling any child to reach their full potential as human beings.
